Mary Mother Of Sorrow Doll by Ugly Shyla |

I hardly ever do dolls for myself.So I made myself a Mary,Mother of sorrows doll.
She is still bit unfinished as of yet because she is just wearing a dressing gown of sorts.She was inspired by vintage Santo statues.
Her “real” permanent outfit will be made as I come across fabric that I really love.I’m also thinking of getting her a larger sacred heart,the one she has now is satin and felt that I just embroidered real quick.Again till I find one fitting for her.
She is partially ball jointed and poseable.She stands 24 inches tall.
I sculpted her from nothing but a ball of polymer clay.
A copy of this doll will be available for 1000.00. The copy of the doll will be a bit smaller as it will be cast in porcelain which shrinks once fired.
