JANABS La Pie - Magpie Necklace |

Each month the Art Bead Scene blog sets up a new challenge for their readers to use art beads to create something based on a particular piece of artwork.
This necklace owes its inspiration to Claude Monet’s painting, La Pie (Magpie). I created the pendant and accent beads by using several techniques - mica shift, carving, painting, sanding and texturing,
