Flower and Faerie Art Dolls
A tiny faerie is bringing dew drops to this new African daisy that is unfurling her petals.
The little fae is sculpted from Prosculpt polymer clay. I made her wings from fabric and her dress from a silk flower. She detaches from the flower for shipping and stands on the leaf by a rod in the bottom of her foot that goes into brass tubing in the leaf. The Fae alone stands 2 3/4 inches tall
The entire sculpt stands 18 inches tall. The flower doll’s roots, stem and leaves are a combinations of apoxie clay, polymer clay, and fabric over wire armature. Her petals are made of polymer clay and her face is sculpted from an air dry clay.
